We’re spotlighting talent in the cosplay community!
Every month, The Variant showcases cosplayers who display talent, creativity, and a positive voice within the cosplay community.
While we’ve been doing our Cosplay Spotlight feature for the better part of 7 years, we’ve never really done a full-on princess feature regardless of the fact that we have some of the best princess photographers in the world as part of our photography team.
This month we decided to showcase some of our current and returning Cosplay Spotlights as
the bad a$$ princesses we always knew them to be.
When we realized five of our Spotlights were dressing as princesses for one of our local events we took the opportunity
to create our March Cosplay Spotlight, showcase some of our favorite empowered cosplayers and
bring in our newest Staff Photographer, Josh Thompson, all in one fell swoop!!!
So for March we are pleased as a pretty princess to bring you:
BlackKarma Cosplay as Ariel from The Little Mermaid
BlueTwin as Merida from Brave
PinkTwin as Snow White from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
Princess Nazgûl as Elsa from Frozen
and
Scarlett Spitfire as Princess Leia From Star Wars
STAY TUNED throughout the month to see more of these incredible princesses on both our social media and theirs!!!
WAIT!!…why are you still reading this??

In a world where rehashed ideas are the standard, we instead choose to give a “Variant” outlook at the fandoms, comics, cons and cosplayers you all know and love.
